How the extension works

MapLink Router is a Safari web extension. When you tap a supported map link in Safari, it may rewrite the destination to open your preferred map app (Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze). Routing decisions happen on your device.

The extension needs website access so it can see the link you tapped. If you choose “Selected Websites,” it runs only on sites you allow.

Data we share

We do not share your browsing data, map links, or routing decisions with any third parties.

Support

If you contact us for support, we receive the information you include in your message (such as your email address and message content) and use it only to respond and troubleshoot.
